The Stray Rats x New Balance 574 “Green” is part of a limited collaboration between the Miami based streetwear brand and the heritage footwear label. Released in January 2021, the “Green” and “Red” 574s followed 2020’s comically named “Sewer Stomper” 827 design imagined by Stray Rats and New Balance. Like the “Sewer Stomper,” the “Green” 574 is constructed from premium materials like hairy green suede, which appears across the upper. A darker hue of green can be found on the nylon material on the toe and collar. A lime green leather “N” logo is situated on either side of the shoe and shines when exposed to light in the dark. Elsewhere, co-branding on the tongue tag and green Stray Rats embroidery on the heel are unique to this covetable collaboration. Finishing details include blue shoelaces and an ENCAP midsole for all-day comfort. Release date: January 8, 2021.
